In this seven-week course, you’ll discover how to tap into real-world inspiration to fuel your own creative imagination!
With guided exercises and visual play, you’ll learn to build a strong visual memory, create compelling characters and construct believable scenes from your imagination. Whether you’re interested in narrative art, portraiture or atmospheric landscapes, this course will equip you with the observational tools and creative confidence to bring your inner world to life.

Required materials:
Graphite pencils
Hard & kneadable erasers
A4 or A3 sketchbook
Any other materials you want to work with such as watercolour, markers, acrylic paint
Final project materials will be discussed in the course
Week 1 - Intro to drawing from imagination
Week 2 - Observational drawing as fuel for creativity
Week 3 - Creating believable characters
Week 4 - Compositions
Week 5 - Using collage and composite imagery
Week 6 - Bringing it all together in a 2 week project
Week 7 - Completion of 2 week project
Please note: This course is designed for people with previous drawing experience.
If you are a beginner you’re still welcome to join the course ☺️ Just a heads-up, you might find the more advanced concepts and techniques a bit of a challenge if you’re just starting out.
