Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all workshops facilitated by Alex. By enrolling in a workshop, you agree to the following:
1. Enrolment & Payment
Full payment is required to confirm your place in the course unless otherwise agreed upon.
Enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces are limited.
2. Refunds & Cancellations
Cancellations made 7 or more days before the workshop start date are eligible for a full refund or credit.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date may not be eligible for a refund, but a credit may be offered at the facilitator's discretion.
No refunds or credits are available once the course has commenced, except under exceptional circumstances.
If a workshop is cancelled by the facilitator (e.g. due to illness, low enrolment, or venue issues), participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future course.
3. Attendance & Make-up Sessions
Missed classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Make-up sessions are not guaranteed, but may be offered if space allows in another session or term.
4. Materials & Equipment
Materials may or may not be included—this will be clearly stated in the course description.
Participants are responsible for bringing their own supplies where required.
Shared materials must be used respectfully and returned in good condition.
5. Health & Safety
Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the facilitator or venue.
Any allergies, sensitivities, injuries, or health concerns must be disclosed in advance.
Children and teens must be dropped off and collected by a parent or guardian unless written permission is given.
6. Photography & Media
Occasionally, photos may be taken during workshops for promotional purposes (e.g. website, social media).
You will be asked to opt in or out of media consent on enrolment. No names will be published without permission, and no images of anyone under the age of 18 will be taken without consent from a parent/caregiver.
7. Behaviour & Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow the Code of Conduct.
Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the course, with no refund provided.
In serious cases, a participant may be banned from future workshops.
8. Intellectual Property
All original work created by participants remains their own.
Course materials, teaching resources, and facilitator-created content are not to be copied, recorded, or redistributed without permission.
9. Liability
While every effort is made to provide a safe environment, the facilitator is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the workshop unless caused by proven negligence.
Participants are encouraged to have their own appropriate insurance if needed.
