Getting your artwork exhibition-ready is almost like another art form! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to present your work with confidence.
This special one-off workshop will help you prepare your SALA artwork in the best way for display.
We’ll go through methods to choose the right framing, and matting to labelling, hanging hardware, and understanding how presentation choices affect how your work is perceived. Walk away ready for our opening night and with exhibition skills you can use for any future shows ✨
If you take part in this workshop you don’t have to drop your work off on Friday 10 July, instead you can leave your work after we prep it during the session ☺️
Required materials:
🖼️ Your Art!
🖼️ A suitable frame (preferably with a Mat Board) - IF you want to frame your art
Getting a frame that is made of wood is the best way to go, however are sometimes a little harder to find/more expensive. I often source good quality frames op-shops and antique stores, they just need a little extra TLC 😅🖼️ All other materials required
