Saturday Morning Drawing - Form & Foreshortening

$260.00

10:00am - 12:30pm | Saturday 11 Oct - 22 Nov
Held at 42 Magill Rd, Norwood SA 5067

Suitable for people who have had some figure drawing experience | ages 16 +

Are you looking to improve the rendering in your figure drawing? Are you wanting to spend some dedicated time tackling and understanding foreshortening?

This course is designed to help you better achieve a sense of 3-dimensional form and space when drawing people. Learn how to shade + render the body in more detail, how to draw active & gestural poses and test out various approaches to foreshortening.

All you need is an A3 or A4 sketchbook,* 2B + HB graphite pencils and hard + kneadable erasers, some willow charcoal and a willingness to look closely.

This course is designed for adult participants - reference images of nude models will be used | minimum age 16

*I recommend Derwent, Canson or Talens sketchbooks. Avoid Mont Marte paper as it often falls apart when you use an eraser 😕

Please ensure that you have read and understand the student Code of Conduct and the Terms & Conditions.
