Do you love drawing and everything geek + pop culture?
Join Alex for this new course where you get to delve into drawing your favourite characters and even design your own!
The course will start by looking at the design and shape language of pop culture characters, cover core illustration and stylisation techniques and then use these skills to design your very own character design.
🧝♀️ Week 1: Pop culture characters & shape language
🐲 Week 2: Testing different character drawing styles
🧛🏻♀️ Week 3: Stylising from reference photos
🦄 Week 4: Generating + sketching character ideas based briefs provided by Alex
🧝♂️ Week 5: Starting to design + develop OC ideas + sketches
🧛🏻 Week 6: Final drawing/design of OC
All you need to bring is an A3 or A4 sketchbook, 2B + HB graphite pencils and hard + kneadable erasers all other materials are provided 👩🎨
